International Quarterly of METEORITES AND METEORITE SCIENCE

Meteorite invites the submission of articles for publication in the magazine. Topics include, but are not limited to, articles about meteorites and their place in the universe. They should be written at a popular level; the audience for Meteorite includes collectors, dealers, interested amateurs, scientists, and educators.

Meteorite publishes submissions in the following categories: articles, letters to the editors, and book and multi-media reviews. Submissions for the articles section should be about 1,000–2,500 words; the inclusion of pictures and figures is encouraged, but should be no more than six. Letters to the editors should be 300 words or less. Meteorite also accepts reviews of books or multi-media for publication; length should be about 500–1,000 words; the media reviewed should be no more than two years old. Publishers or authors who wish to have their books reviewed should send them directly to the editors, Larry and Nancy Lebofsky.

Review of submissions is carried out by the editors; Meteorite reserves the right to make any necessary changes. Published articles become the copyright property of Meteorite magazine. Submissions should be sent directly to the editors, Larry and Nancy Lebofsky (meteditr@uark.edu). Electronic submission is preferred, if possible using Microsoft Word; images are preferred in TIFF or JPEG format, but BMP or GIF are also acceptable.
